Bullshot asked me to create a cohesive visual identity that would carry through their packaging, printed materials, website and motion content. The goal was to present their bone broth as a modern, premium product while keeping a warm, handcrafted character. I developed a exciting and confident brand style that could adapt easily across both physical and digital touchpoints.
From the outset, I knew the brand needed to tell a story and transport the viewer into its own imaginative world. After exploring several directions, we landed on a set of sophisticated yet playful vintage inspired illustrations. The Victorian gentleman became the brand’s central character, appearing throughout the website and social channels, found riding farm animals and occasionally introducing his sweetheart. The identity is brought to life with bold typography and a lot of texture. I designed the layouts to feel energetic yet structured, helping users immediately understand the health benefits. Prototyping in Figma ensured smooth refinement of the interface and interactions across desktop and mobile.
Packaging and printed collateral follow the same visual language, using strong colour contrast, legible type and consistent hierarchy to make each broth variant easy to recognize. Video animations were created to support the brand’s storytelling and add motion to the digital experience. Altogether, the work creates a unified and memorable brand presence that strengthens Bullshot’s position in the growing bone broth market.
In 2022 we entered the UK Food and Drink Show with a fully branded stand that quickly became one of the event’s main attractions. We delivered a fully immersive experience of sight, sound, touch and taste, complete with a captivating cinema inside the Bullshot Flavourdome. Actors and actresses in Victorian dress interacted with visitors throughout the day, bringing the brand’s characters to life and creating a memorable atmosphere. The experience was a huge success and earned us the award for Best in Show: Immersive Experience. This momentum helped elevate the product even further and led to a collaboration with British chef and TV host James Martin, who featured Bullshot in a series of product shoots and filmed recipes showcasing the bone broth in action.
